It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident.

Course Description

                            • In this course you learn about the whole workflow starting from a concept to a finished sequence. This technique is suitable for small to medium studios. The software used to create the model is Zbrush while I used Maya for Rigging and Animation.

                            • For the environment, particles, fire, rendering, I used 3DS Max But Similar result can easily be achieved with Houdini or any other 3D package that you are comfortable with. Using the provided techniques you can create all sorts of similar characters animation shots. It will also help you make your own collection for your demo-reel.

                            • Chapter 01: Modeling the Main Character in Zbrush
                            • We start by modeling the character step by step using Zbrush for creating and painting the character. You will learn how to create an appealing character suitable for rigging.

                            • Chapter 02: Environment Kitbaching - Implementing the animated characters in 3DS Max.
                            • We use kitbaching to create a suitable environment for our character. We use TyFlow to create and simulate the background insects and the cloud of bats by testing several techniques to achieve a satisfying behavior. We have to manually integrate some of the characters into the same scene. Several techniques were used to achieve that.

                            • Chapter 04: Pre-animation to understand the range of motion to build a rig for it
                            • The fun begins here! We start this chapter by stressing the importance of shooting references even if it is for a fantasy character! After that we use this later as a source of inspiration to do some roughly traditional drawing for the sole purpose of getting the: 'feeling of animation'. Don't worry! I'm no "2D artist"!
                            • This approach will help us build a successful character rig and animation as well.

                            • Chapter 05: Rigging the Body in Maya
                            • We start the rigging from scratch, we start working on the largest areas down to the smallest areas. We include all the possible range of movement for the body, we implement the squash and stretch and more....We add a hybrid setup for the stem to lessen the burden on the animator and let the simulation do it for us. We finish this chapter by including a global scale for our rig.

                            • Chapter 06: Facial Rigging in Maya
                            • We start by rigging the lips with an advanced ribbon setup and we implement a flexible "lips sealing" without scripting to help the animator get the cartoony lips. I will show you also how to rig the eyebrow for a non-anatomical character that will represent some challenges for us and more.…

                            • Chapter 07: 3D Animation in Maya
                            • Animation is an extremely a long process and a difficult skill to master. I will try my best to make it as simple as possible by sharing with you the techniques of tackling a shot like this.

                            • Chapter 09: Fire in 3DS Max
                            • We rely on phoenixFD to create the different fires, the fireball, the burnt fire and the large scale fire using different approaches for each.

                            • N.B:If you are not familiar with TyFlow, PhoenixFD or Flipbook please visit my YouTube channel for free introductory videos.

                            • (The final result of the course was rendered with 1280*720 resolution due to the time constraint. For better quality pictures from the course please refer to the "images tab" that includes some FULL HD images from the course.)
