A richer CG industry
The Game Development Series training curriculum is a massive educational course I have been working on for a long time. It is designed to teach you everything you need to know about game development, from creating professional grade high quality art, to implementing it all inside of a game engine. I have been creating training material since 2007, and this is the biggest, most ambitious training endeavor I have ever undertaken.
I'm going to cover a new technique, this time we will focus on creating what I like to call "sleeves". This is the process of creating environment sections that take advantage of tileable textures to quickly have large environment section done, without loosing detail quality. We'll be starting off in Maya and then work our way to ZBrush and back.
